Olive Branch Fostering are looking for a Children and Young People Engagement Office to join the team in our Rawtenstall office.
The Role
As a Children and Young People Engagement Officer you will be responsible for building positive working relationships with our Children and young people (CYP). You will be responsible for delivering training regarding a number of topics such as online safety, personal hygiene and first aid as well as organising creative competitions and interactive activities to engage our children and Young people.
In this role You will provide guidance and support to those leaving care around living semi-independent, whilst implementing challenges for our young people to complete around budgeting, cooking, and using local services.
As a Children and Young people Engagement Officer you will undertake weekly, fortnightly, monthly, and quarterly visits, monitoring CYP outcomes. You will support our children and young people to actively take part in the completion of looked after children review reports as well as be responsible for the completion of child specific risk assessments.
To be considered for this role you must have clean driving licence and access to a vehicle as this role will involve regular travel.
